Press Stability: This line of flushes is formulated to enable the ink maker to manufacture stable heatset ink that resists solvent release with the increased speeds of the Sunday Presses.
Ink Formulation: The let down varnish is a heavy gel Luminex 55 from Lawter. It will resist breaking down from heat generated on a high-speed press. It dries fast, maximizes the gloss and has a good release under high-speed conditions. The wax compound recommended is Fluoron 960 from Lawter. It is a pure PTFE designed for ultimate slip efficiency and will accept all types of imprinting or over coating.
