HISTORY

Apollo Colors was founded by Warren J. Norton, Bob Armour, and Jerry Stajura in 1969 and commenced producing organic pigments in a flushed form in January, 1970. In July of 1975, production was moved to the 41,000 square foot facility on 11.2 acres in Rockdale, IL. Since that date, Apollo Colors has expanded its manufacturing facilities to 200,000 square feet under one roof with over 175 employees. Apollo’s property has grown to approximately 18 acres. Administration and sales are located in a modern office building near our manufacturing plant in Rockdale.
